Using adhesion promotors, correct primers, keying surfaces and rubbing down to ensure smooth transitions is critical. And time consuming. Not to mention the masking up and removal of parts and trims which prevents overspray and lacquer peel.

But it doesn’t stop there.  Great care is taken in painting to get smooth even coats and more time spent flatting down the lacquer and polishing.
